Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of the SurgiNotes mobile app (the "App"), published by Unstoppable Scrub LLC ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the App you agree to them.
Not medical advice. SurgiNotes is a reference and educational tool for surgical technologists. It is not a substitute for professional training, clinical judgment, or your facility's policies and procedures. Always verify information against your facility's current protocols and the direction of the surgical team. We are not liable for clinical decisions made using the App.
Your account
You need an account to sync your content. Keep your credentials confidential; you are responsible for activity under your account. You must be legally able to enter into these terms.
License
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your own professional reference. The App's reference content is ours or our licensors' and may not be copied, scraped, or redistributed.
Your content
Custom procedures, instruments, notes, preference cards, and photos you add remain yours. You are responsible for what you upload — in particular, never photograph patients or anything containing patient information. We may remove content that violates these terms or the law.
Subscriptions
SurgiNotes offers optional auto-renewable subscriptions — monthly and yearly — that unlock premium content and features. Prices are shown in the App before you buy.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google account when you confirm the purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; the renewal is charged within 24 hours before the period ends.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings at any time after purchase.
- New accounts receive a 7-day free trial granted by us on first sign-in. It is not a store offer, and any unused trial time is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their store policies.
Acceptable use
Don't misuse the App: no unlawful use, no attempts to breach or overload our services, no reverse engineering except where the law permits it, and no use of the AI identification feature on images of people or patient information.
Termination
You can stop using the App and delete your account at any time (see our account deletion page). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Disclaimers and liability
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected here with a new effective date. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
